bobin (bobinapp.com) is a TV show and movie tracking service. This policy explains what data we keep and why.

What data we keep

• Account: your username, an irreversible hash of your password (scrypt), and, if provided, your email address and language preference. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the email address and account identifier they send us.
• Usage: your watch history (shows, episodes, movies, dates, mood stamps), your comments and uploaded photos, your messages (direct messages and rooms), your follow list and your notification preferences.
• Technical: a session cookie (only when signed in, HttpOnly) and server error logs. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

What we use it for

Only to run the app: showing your shelf, calculating your stats, sending notifications if you turned them on, and providing the social features. Your data is never sold and never shared with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on our own server and backed up regularly. Show and movie information and posters are fetched live from the TVmaze and Cinemeta catalogs.

Your rights

• Export: Settings → Download your data gives you all your data as JSON.
• Deletion: Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your account and all of your content.

Age

bobin is for people aged 13 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update it here and announce important changes inside the app.

Payments

Web payments are handled by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record). Your card details go directly to Paddle and never reach our servers. From Paddle we only receive the order number, the amount and your bobin username, so we can credit your supporter level. Paddle processes your payment data under its own privacy policy.
